MEMBERSHIP & MEMBERS

TAFS members are experts on transmissible animal diseases and food safety from the following sectors:

  • Researchers
  • Food industry
  • Regulators
  • Consumer representatives
  • Food producers
  • Retailers and restaurant operators

Members of TAFS all contribute to the running of the forum. Individual scientists may make their contributions “in kind”, by providing time and intellectual resources. In the case of members working in industry, a contribution to the operational cost of the forum is requested.

Although the intention is to keep TAFS compact and effective, there remains room to include other interested stakeholders.
